Summer Dressage Series with Two Strides Forward Equestrian
Last minute additions for our summer schedule! We have an amazing (and affordable!) dressage clinic series for everyone. This series is in partnership with Two strides Forward Equestrian. It will provide riders (or in hand participants) an amazing opportunity to build their skills with Helgi Sangret and then with “homework” between each session. Sessions can be taken individually or as a group with a discount. Registration for: 4 July, 8 August and September 5th, with all clinic details, is now open and found here: https://forms.gle/rx8dUrZxDbP32acx7 Meet your clinician: Helgi Sangret has been a certified coach for 20 years, and currently holds 4 different certifications. Her background includes dressage, eventing, Pony Club, natural horsemanship, starting and training horses, positive reinforcement training, therapeutic riding and para/dressage, and vaulting. Helgi enjoys blending French classical dressage principles with modern neuroscience and ethology and somatic biomechanics, all within a trauma-informed approach that is gentle and accessible for both horse and human. Let’s learn and ride together this summer team MES!

MES Dressage Show & Tell
A new addition to our summer schedule is coming in hot… A Dressage “Show and Tell”! Happening on August 9th starting at 9:00am, we are honoured to have Suzie Anderson as our judge. So get you and your horse spiffed up and let’s do this together! Riders will each get 15 minutes to complete their dressage test of choice (HCBC, EC or WE Canada) up to third level or WE L5. They then get to talk directly with our judge after their ride to discuss key points for score improvements. There will not be placements, but there will be small tokens of appreciation for those that participate. It’s a win-win kind of situation! Cost per test is only $30. Riders can pick up to two tests per horse. With limited spots available, don’t delay on registration please. We are also offering photography for the event. Our official photographer Katelyn Larkin will be here capturing your stress free and glorious rides. We are clever like that. 🤩🤠 Event volunteers are greatly needed and appreciated. Please contact the MES via messenger or email at metchosinequestrian.events@gmail.com to get into the crew that makes the magic happen. Full information and event signup is here: https://forms.gle/xPnwhKxRjhZH8Ebh7 See you at the our stress free show!
